The Government of Madhya Pradesh launched a MPTAAS scholarship (Madhya Pradesh Tribal Affairs & Scheduled Caste Welfare Automation System) with the motive to provide aid and welfare support to those students who come from the Scheduled Castes (SC) and the Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities. This scholarship helps students to cover their post-matric education (11 and 12 and above) and up to higher studies ( UG, PhD, PG) and supports students in achieving education free from any economic barriers. 

Eligibility Criteria For The Scholarship 

Eligibility criteria of MPTAAS for students:

• Applicants must be from Madhya Pradesh.
• You should carry an official SC or ST certificate.
• You have taken admission in a legal institution ( 11, 12, UG, PG, PhD) in any courses.
• Family income must be within the limit of Rs. 6 lakh for SC/ST/OBC.
• Only institutions authorised by the relevant board or university are eligible.

• For day scholars & classes 11 and 12 get Rs. 250-300 per month in some categories.

How To Apply For The MPTAAS Scholarship?

1. Open https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas to know the current status of your application.
2. Choose and click on New Beneficiary Profile Registration or equivalent.
3. Fill up the Aadhaar number and follow the necessary on-screen instructions, including your mobile number and OTP.
4. Set username and password for future login.
5. Log in using your credentials “New user id and password”, the scholarship you are applying for, and then fill up the application.
6. Upload required documents:
   • Aadhaar card
   • Caste certificate
   • Income certificate
   • Residential proof
   • Previous year marksheet’s
7. Review carefully and submit the form.
8. Print the acknowledgement to track your ID status.

• Log on to https://www.tribal.mp.gov.in/mptaas to track your status.
• Log in to the MPTAAS Scholarship by using your user ID and password.
• After MPTAAS login, select “Application status” in the PMS dropdown.
• View your application status on the screen. The status must be shown in: “Pending”, “Under Process”, “Approved”, “Rejected”, “Sent for verification”,  or “Payment processed”.

Renewal Procedure OF MPTAAS Scholarship

If you are already a recipient and continuing to the next year of your course, you must renew your MPTAAS account:

• Log in to your profile using your ID and Password.
• Navigate to the “Renewal Application” option under the PMS dropdown.
• Update and verify any of your information, such as “Roll no”, “Division”, etc.
• Upload the necessary documents, which include the previous year’s marksheet and fee receipts.
• Review and submit the form.
