A Samagra ID is a unique identification number issued by the Government of Madhya Pradesh for state citizens. This portal provides a Unique ID to all state residents for accessing social security benefits and schemes. Under this ID, all citizens of the state are registered on the Samagra Portal. It is a part of the Samagra Social Security Mission and exists in two forms: an 8-digit Family ID and a 9-digit Member ID for individual family members. This ID is used to access the wide range of services, including pensions, scholarships, food rations, and healthcare.

Key Features Of Samagra ID

• Double IDs:- Every family receives an 8-digit Samagra Family ID, while each individual within the family gets a 9-digit Samagra Individual ID.
• Government benefits:- This ID is used to get a wide range of government benefits, including healthcare, food assistance, and other welfare programs.
• Digital identity:- This ID functions as a digital identity for the residents of Madhya Pradesh.
• Online portal:- The Samagra portal can be used by citizens to register, locate their ID, print their card, and link their Aadhaar.
• Access to services:- It serves as a central key for the citizens to avail government schemes like the Ladli Behna Yojana, old-age pensions, scholarships, and other services.

How To Register For Samagra ID?

1. Visit the Portal:- Go to the official Samagra portal to start your ID registration process. 
2. Fill the registration form:- Enter the basic details related to name, date of birth, gender, and address in the Samagra portal form.
3. Upload all necessary documents:- Upload your identification documents like: 10th marksheet, Aadhar card, Ration card, Pan card, Passport, Driving licence, Voter ID card or Disability certificate issued by Medical Board, if any disability.
4. Verification and approval process:-  After you submit the form, the officials will verify your details. Once approved, your Samagra ID will link to your Samagra portal then you can use once ID to access all government benefits.
5. Receive your ID:- After verification by the officials, you will receive your ID for future benefits.

Procedure For E-KYC Verification

To complete E-KYC on the Samagra ID, you need to perform some steps:-

• Go to the official portal, navigate to the e-KYC Available option on the homepage.
• Log in to your Samagra ID account. If you already have your Samagra portal account, click Login and enter your registered mobile number, or if you are new, click Register to create your ID.
• Choose the Samagra E-KYC methods:-Samagra e-KYC through Aadhaar number, OTP-based verification, or biometric-based e-KYC verification.
• After the e-KYC process is done, you can also check its status.

Steps to print/download the Samagra card

• Go to the official website to print or download the card.
• Find and click on the “Print Your Card” option under the “Register” or “Print Samagra Family Card” section.
• Enter your Samagra Member ID or Family Member ID on the next page.
• After that, you can print or download your card.

How to update your Samagra ID profile?

To update your profile in the Samagra portal, you need to find and click the “Update Samagra Profile” option on the homepage.

• After that, enter your registered 9-digit Samagra ID and OTP.
• Choose the specific information you need to update in your profile (e.g. name, birth, address, gender).
• Enter new details such as the correct date of birth, address or any other information.
• Then update your profile.
