How to get a new driving license on Parivahan Sewa?
Visit the official Sarathi Parivahan portal.
Select your state.
All online services of your state’s RTO will now open.
Apply for a Learner’s License (LL)
- To get a new driving license, you first need to apply for a learner’s license.
- Click “Apply for Learner’s License.”
- Verify your mobile number and Aadhaar via OTP.
- Enter your details (name, address, date of birth, etc.) in the application form.
- Upload the required documents:
- Aadhaar Card
- Proof of Address
- Birth Certificate
- Pay the fee online.
- Book a Learner’s License Test Slot.
- Your LL will be issued immediately upon passing the test.

Apply for a Permanent DL
- You can apply for a Permanent Driving License 30 days after the LL is issued.

Parivahan Sewa Vehicle Registration Process
- Apply at the dealer or Vahan portal: Select New Vehicle Registration and fill out the form.
- Upload the required documents: Invoice, Insurance, Address Proof, PAN, etc.
- Pay the fees online: Pay the registration fee, road tax, and other applicable charges.
- Vehicle Inspection at the RTO: RTO officials check the vehicle’s chassis number and details.

Online e-Challan Payment Process
- Visit the official Parivahan Sewa portal and select the “e-Challan” section.
- Enter the vehicle number, challan number, or DL number.
- All pending challans linked to your name will appear on the screen.
- Select the challan you want to pay and click “Pay Now.”
- Complete the payment using UPI, Net Banking, or Debit/Credit Card.
- Download the digital receipt or save a screenshot after successful payment.
Sarathi Parivahan Application Status
- Visit the official Sarathi Parivahan website.
- On the home page of the website, you will find the “Track Application Status” option. Click on it.
- Here, you will need to enter your application number or reference number.
- You will need to enter your date of birth and application number.
- Then click on the Submit button.
- Your application status will then be displayed on your screen.
- If you are checking the status of your driving license or RC, you will need to use the reference number of your document.
Driving License Eligibility Criteria
